Ma Balise

Ma Balise is a Belgian maker of Ephem, a biodegradable and recyclable NFC/RFID label built from printed conductive ink on FSC paper. The four-layer construction uses no PVC, PET or chemical etching, is certified industrially compostable by DIN CERTCO and TUV Rheinland, and is certified recyclable in paper streams by PTS. Compatible with standard NFC and RFID chips including NXP and Impinj silicon, Ephem targets paper and cardboard packaging, logistics and smart product applications where conventional plastic-based labels contaminate the recycling stream. Winner of the LuxePack in Green Award 2025. Ma Balise serves Europe, Australasia and the Americas.
