PAL Robotics

PAL Robotics builds humanoid and mobile robots from Barcelona, including the TIAGo Pro manipulator and the KANGAROO legged platform. Its RFID product is StockBot, an autonomous robot that drives itself around a store or warehouse reading RAIN tags to keep inventory current without staff running handheld counts. It is one of the clearer examples of RFID moving beyond fixed infrastructure and handhelds to a mobile reader covering the floor on its own schedule, aimed at retail stockrooms and shop floors.
