Primo1D

Primo1D embeds RFID into textiles from Grenoble, using a technique it calls E-Thread. Rather than attaching a label, the tag is built into a yarn or narrow strip that is woven or sewn into the garment itself, leaving it invisible to the wearer and difficult to remove. The range covers E-Yarn, E-Lix and E-Strip in customisable formats. The company positions the technology for traceability across a whole garment life, through production, retail, resale and recycling.
