RACE RESULT

RACE RESULT builds sports timing systems from Pfinztal in Germany, and is one of the larger users of RFID outside the supply chain: the company reports supporting more than 25,000 events a year across 120 countries and over sixteen million athletes. It supplies both active and passive transponders under the Ubidium name, along with timing boxes, track systems, bibs and the RACE RESULT 14 software that processes race data. Its passive transponders are UHF tags working in an unusually demanding read environment.
