The RAIN Alliance is the global industry body driving market adoption of RAIN RFID, the passive UHF technology behind item-level tagging worldwide. Its members span the whole value chain, from chip makers and inlay manufacturers to readers, software and end users, collaborating on standardised encoding, interoperability, training and certification. The Alliance publishes the industry's benchmark market data, including annual tag chip shipment figures, runs webinars and masterclasses, and hosts RAIN in Action, its annual global gathering.
